Lauren Daigle Interview
We speak to the rising star about crossover hit 'You Say' & her next single.

Lauren Daigle landed one of the biggest crossover Christian-pop hits of all time, when “You Say” became an organic chart phenomenon. The soaring ballad cracked the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, won a Grammy and was certified platinum. Expectations are high for the followup, but “Rescue” has every chance of finding similar success. “[It’s] probably the most personal song from Look Up Child,” the hitmaker says of her inspiring, new single. “It was written for someone very close to me who was going through a difficult time.”

“I wanted something that would comfort them in their time of need,” she continues. “That’s the purpose of the song, to give hope to people who feel lost.” Lauren is supporting the single with a suitably stunning video, which finds the vocalist wandering around the breathtakingly beautiful Knik Glacier in Alaska. “The landscape is synonymous to the depth of healing that can take place where you feel void or empty,” Lauren explains. “When hope arrives in such an expansive way it can rescue you.” Watch the stunning visual below.
