K-Pop continues to take over the world, one bop at a time. While artists like BTS and BLACKPINK lead the way, a number of new acts have started making moves. One of the most promising is ATEEZ. The 8-member group has already built a loyal following with their Treasure EP trilogy — selling out every date of The Expedition Tour. That kind of buzz was destined to attract the attention of major labels, and today (July 24) the budding stars sign with RCA Records/Sony Music Korea.

“We are truly honored and thrilled to become part of the RCA Records Family and be affiliated with some of the biggest artists in the world, whom we have always admired,” the group says in a press release. “We will work hard to ensure that our music can be present in the form of a ‘Treasure’ in all the hearts and souls of our listeners and fans.” RCA is similarly enthused about the union. “K-Pop is undeniable and ATEEZ is stepping out as a frontrunner in the space,” the label’s Co-President, John Fleckenstein, adds.

While we wait for ATEEZ’s major label debut, check out “Hakuna Matata”-referening “Waves” below. It’s my favorite track from TREASURE EP.3: One To All.
