David Guetta & Raye's 'Stay (Don't Go Away)'
UK pop star Raye joins forces with David Guetta on new single, 'Stay (Don't Go Away).'

RAYE’s time is coming. The UK pop star has been building momentum for a while now, with both club collaborations (Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me” is still that song) and stellar songwriting credits (she co-wrote Beyoncé’s “Bigger” from The Gift). The 21-year-old is due for a breakthrough hit and “Love Me Again” could just be the song. “I guess we were a little too young, I was a little too proud,” she admits on the pre-chorus over Fred Ball’s crisp synths and church keys. “We were a little too dumb, I was a little too wild.”

By the time the chorus arrives, however, RAYE has given into temptation and dials her ex in a moment of weakness. “So I call him, and I say, ‘Yeah, hello, how you doing? I was wondering if there’s something I could do to make you love me again.'” We’ve all been there. “This song is super vulnerable, but it’s really powerful in its own way,” the breakout star explains. “I don’t want to make plastic music. I’m trying not to listen to anything that’s on the radio right now because I don’t want to create anything that anyone else is doing.” Listen below.
