The Brit makes a surprise return with a charity single called 'Hope.'

Almost 10 years have passed since the arrival of Natasha Bedingfield’s Strip Me in 2010. Since then, the UK pop star has dropped the occasional collaboration and one-off single, but she has been largely MIA from the music scene. The 37-year-old’s extended hiatus came to an end last week when she rolled out “Kick It” as the lead single from her long-awaited 4th LP, Roll With Me (due August 30). Co-written and produced by the legendary Linda Perry, “Kick It” showcases Natasha’s vocal prowess and emotional delivery.

“Something always turns ugly, someone always gets mean,” the comeback queen belts on the pre-chorus. “And the darkness that follows weighs too heavy on me.” That leads us to the hook-laden chorus. “Kick it if you wanna make it, kick it if you wanna make it last.” If this is any indication, Natasha’s fourth album just might be worth the nine-year wait! Listen to the soaring mid-tempo anthem below and check out cute buzz track, “Roller Skate,” here.
