UPDATE: A press release confirms Lana’s cover arrives this Friday. Producer Guillermo del Toro also opened up about the chance to work with her. “I have admired Lana’s music for a while now and felt in my gut that she would run with ‘Season of the Witch’ – that she would use her alchemy to transform it,” he said. “She is a great artist and has been an amazing partner with us in this adventure. It is an honor for me to have met her.”

Lana Del Rey just keeps sharing good news. Last week the 34-year-old unveiled the impending release date of Norman Fucking Rockwell. Her brilliantly titled LP arrives August 30 and already deserves all the awards. Since then, she’s announced an accompanying tour, which launches next month. Not only that, but anticipation is rising for her “Fuck It I Love You” and “The Greatest” video. But there’s even more to be excited about. Today (August 5) the chanteuse hopped online to tease another release.

Taking to social media, LDR confirmed rumors that she recorded a track for Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. The song in question is a cover of Donovan’s “Season Of The Witch.” Based on a teaser that she shared alongside the announcement, it sounds like Lana’s take is going to be predictably fabulous and appropriately eerie. The film arrives in theaters this Friday (August 9), so it seems as though we’ll hear it in full around the same time. This marks the soundtrack queen’s second cover of the year.

Earlier this summer, she put a fresh spin on Sublime’s “Doin’ Time.” Check out her announcement below while we wait to hear “Season Of The Witch.”
