Maren Morris Soaks Up The Sun With Ryan Hurd In “The Bones” Video
What sophomore slump? Instead of suffering from the second album curse, Maren Morris’ GIRL era has gone from strength to strength. The album, which arrived in March, broke the record for the largest-ever debut streaming week for a female country artist with a whopping 23.96 million streams. Not only that, but the title track reached number one on country radio — making her the first woman to do it in more than a year. She now has another hit on her hands with the Greg Kurstin-produced “The Bones.”
Maren rolled out the video this morning (August 15) and it’s a suitably romantic affair. Directed by Alex Ferrari, the clip is comprised of home movies. We get a glimpse of the country superstar soaking up the sun with husband Ryan Hurd. They frolic in a stream and make out on the beach, reminding us with each and every scene that they are couple goals. No doubt, “The Bones” will be a highlight of Maren’s GIRL: The World Tour, which kicks off again later this month. Watch the video below and buy concert tickets here.
