Lana Del Rey Drops 'Doin' Time'
LDR releases a cover of Sublime's summery '90s hit, 'Doin' Time.'

Lana Del Rey will drop a video for new songs “Fuck It I Love You!” and “The Greatest” on Thursday night (August 22). The dark-pop pioneer previously alluded to the visual in July when she captioned an Instagram pic with bodybuilder/actor Brad Swanick with the following update: “I think you’re gonna love the new double video I did with Rich Lee for two songs off the new record.” Our generous queen finally shared a snippet of the visual yesterday and it reminds me a little of “Ride” in its scope and celebration of old-school Americana.

“The culture is lit and if this is it I had a ball,” Lana sings in the preview. (I’m not sure on which of the two songs). “But I guess that I’m burned out after all.” The clip begins with the “Venice Bitch” hitmaker soaking up the sun in a fishing boat, before indulging in a little karaoke. She also throws darts, plays a little pool, pours drinks in a bar and is generally flawless. If the video premieres on Thursday, it’s a safe bet that the songs will drop simultaneously. Norman Fucking Rockwell arrives on August 30 and I can’t fucking wait.
