Another month, another bop courtesy of Why Don’t We. The boy band took on an ambitious task this year: Every month, they’re dropping a new song. The release schedule has yielded several hits including the iTunes-conquering “Big Plans,” a collaboration with Macklemore called “I Don’t Belong In This Club” and last month’s flirty banger “Come To Brazil.” And they have another on their hands with August’s single “What Am I.” Out today (August 23), their latest is a love song with a writing credit from Ed Sheeran.

On it, the guys put a clever spin on a childhood chant we’re all familiar with: “I know you are, but what am I?” Only, in their hands, the end result is much more adorable and romantic. “Tell me, have you seen a sunset turn into a sunrise? Kiss right though the night? ‘Cause we should try that sometime. Hold you ’til the mornin’. And if I said I’m fallin’, would you just reply ‘I know you are, but what am I,'” they sing. Paired with a dreamy video that sees them performing the song on the beach, and it’s a serious win.

Not only that, but looks like it has extra meaning to Why Don’t We. “This is more than just 8/12,” they said on Instagram earlier this week. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what that means. In the meantime, press play on “What Am I” below.
