Meet Bibi Bourelly
Why are you sleeping on the woman who wrote 'Bitch Better Have My Money' and 'Higher'?

Bibi Bourelly first made waves in 2015 for penning Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” (and other Anti gems including “Higher” and “Pose”). She then launched her artist project with “Riot,” one of the many great songs on her Free The Real EP. Since then, the 25-year-old has been busy behind the scenes — co-writing Christina Aguilera’s “Accelerate” and Mariah Carey’s “GTFO.” Bibi is now ready to deliver a hit of her own. The rising star introduces her debut album with a banger called “Wet.”

“I said fuck you, Daddy,” The Berlin-based multi-talent sings in an early verse of slick, hip-hop beats. “I’m leavin’ this small town to go and get my bread up.” It turns out that money (namely, making more of it) is the theme of the song. Which is particularly apparent on the catchy chorus. “I want the drip (wet), I want the cake (wet),” Bibi spits. “I want the spliff (wet), I want the bitches (wet).” As much as I loved the fuzzier, rock-tinged sound of “Riot” and “Sally,” there’s no denying that this is a banger.
