Halsey Readies The Release Of New Single “Graveyard”

Halsey has some pretty big plans in store for Friday the 13th. That’s the day the 24-year-old is gearing up to release her new single “Graveyard.” Today (September 3), she hopped on social media to unveil the eerie cover art. On it, the “Without Me” chart-topper (dressed in all black) stares directly into the camera against a lilac and pink background. There’s a filter over the majority of the image, which adds a spooky feel. The art is also loaded with what most fans presume are hints about both the track and her upcoming, third album.

If so, this could very well be the first taste of the tracklist. It will be interesting to hear what it sounds like. Based on the title and cover art, I’m willing to predict the song will pick up where “Nightmare” left off sonically. However, there are no guarantees yet. Hopefully we’ll find out more in the lead-up to the release. Halsey seemed to signal that she had a couple surprises in the works with a tweet shortly after the announcement. “Lots coming between now and then. Look alive,” she urged. Fans have been speculating about the follow-up to 2017’s hopeless fountain kingdom for a while now.

We’ve even gone as far as to examine tattoos for hints of what to expect. That led to a belief that we may be getting another song on Halsey’s birthday (September 29). We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, check out the cover art below. After doing that make sure to pre-save “Graveyard” here.
