Julia's Dreamy '17' Video
Julia Michaels follows up 'Body' with an equally dreamy video for '17.'

After a slow start, the visual element of Julia Michaels’ Inner Monologue Part 2 is really coming together. After rolling out a powerful video for “Body,” which found the singer/songwriter laying herself bare, she dropped a dreamy clip for EP highlight, “17.” Next up is a visual for “Priest.” An extended fuck-you set to music, this is arguably the most biting song in the hitmaker’s discography. “You broke my heart and now you want some redemption, oh it’s obvious that you ain’t learned your lesson,” Julia hisses on the chorus.

“You’re owning up so you can get to heaven,” the 25-year-old continues. “But I’m not a priest, so fuck your confession.” Fair enough! Instead of taking a literal approach, Julia’s “Priest” video is highly conceptual. It finds her surrounded by friends against a white backdrop. They serve as a line of defensive in case the “Issues” singer has a moment of weakness and slips up. Watch the striking clip below. Julia’s Inner Monologue Tour will return to the states in October.
