Post Malone Taps Halsey & Future For Heartbreak Anthem “Die For Me”

It’s here! Today (September 6) is the day Post Malone drops his eagerly anticipated Hollywood’s Bleeding. The LP, his third, houses three singles that already dominated the Billboard Hot 100. Those are “Wow.” “Sunflower” and “Goodbyes.” That’s not all, though. There’s another – “Circles” – guaranteed to impact the chart next week. And the superstar packed several other potentially massive hits on the tracklist. One of those that deserves a closer look is the Halsey and Future-assisted “Die For Me.”

Produced by Louis Bell, Andrew Watt and Happy Perez, the track finds the guys dealing with the devastation of a broken heart. “It was love at first sight. Felt like you were chosen. But that blood in your veins, yeah, I know it’s frozen,” the “rockstar” hitmaker laments. He puts it all on the table on the chorus, which is (unsurprisingly) an instant earworm. “Said you’d take a bullet. Told me you would die for me. I had a really bad feeling you’d been lying to me.” Halsey comes in last to offer a slightly different perspective.

And the “Without Me” diva takes no prisoners. “Settle down, I’ll spell it out. It’s simple enough,” Halsey bitingly begins. “I don’t play anymore. I went through your phone and caught the girls in your DMs and took them all home.” Her savaging continues with several more noteworthy lines, including a couple perceived digs at ex G-Eazy. Well, there you have it. With any luck, Post will give this an official single treatment at sometime in the future. Just imagine the blockbuster of a video it could get. Give the track a listen and check out the rest of Hollywood’s Bleeding below.
