Usher drops a surprise collaborative album with producer Zaytoven called 'A.'

Three years have passed since Usher’s last studio album, 2016’s underrated Hard II Love, but he hasn’t exactly gone away. The R&B superstar surprised fans with 2018’s A, a collaborative project with producer Zaytoven, and now returns with a slinky club banger called “LaLaLa.” A collaboration with South African DJ Black Coffee, the track finds Mr. Raymond in a sexy mood. “Wanna take you places that no one can find, put my lips on you just to read your mind,” he sings. “Let me take you all the way now.”

Things just get sexier from there. “Can I invade spaces that no one would try, put your hips on me just to little whine,” Usher coos over Black Coffee’s cascading beats. Can we take it all the way now?” The track sounds incredibly fresh thanks to a world music twist, while the simple “lalala” refrain gets instantly lodged in your brain. The track is destined to satiate hungry Usher fans and increase the DJ/producer’s global profile. (He has already crafted beats for Drake and Jorja Smith). Listen below.
