Pet Shop Boys introduce their 14th LP with “Dreamland,” an uptempo, feel-good collaboration with Years & Years. “I heard there’s a dreamland in another world far away,” Neil Tennant begins the song in his signature clipped tone. “They say it’s a free land and they welcome everyone to stay,” Olly Alexander chimes in. The vocalists come together on the chorus. “Dreamland, I love you, I dream of you all night and day,” they sing over Stuart Price’s cascading synths. “Dreamland, I need you, I close my eyes and you lead the way.”

All in all, it’s one of the iconic UK duo’s best singles in some time. “We have had a busy year finishing our new album with Stuart Price,” Pet Shop Boys reveal. “We’ve also toured the Far East and are looking forward to bringing our biggest hits together in a new tour next year. It’s so exciting that our new single is a collaboration with Years & Years, one of the most original and successful bands to emerge this decade, and we really enjoyed writing and recording it with Olly Alexander.” Get tickets for the tour here and listen to “Dreamland” below.
