Paulina Rubio returns with a catchy new single called 'Suave Y Sutil.'

Paulina Rubio, Mexican pop legend and one-time US X Factor judge, is releasing a new single called “Si Supieran” (roughly translated as “If They Knew”) on September 12. It’s the flawless 48-year-old’s first new song since releasing 2018’s underrated Deseo LP and sounds like a hit — at least from the brief snippet. As usual, the song is bursting with the hitmaker’s feisty personality and boasts the kind of outrageous lyrics that we’ve come to expect. The production also sounds a little more on-trend than Pau’s recent offerings.

The North American leg of Paulina’s Deseo Tour kicks off in San José, California on September 12 and then stops in eight more cities, before winding up in Washington, D.C. on September 29. It will be interesting to see if she adds “Si Supieran” to the tracklist (it wasn’t there for the European and Latin American legs). Not that it matters, the show is still jam-packed with hits including “Ni Una Sola Palabra,” “Lo Haré Por Ti” and, my jam, “Causa y Efecto.” Get concert tickets here and see Paulina’s announcement below.
