Last month Taylor Swift wasn’t exactly sure what a tour for her new album Lover would look like. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the 29-year-old said that she had spent so much time getting the LP and its larger-than-life visuals put together that she hadn’t finalized any plans yet. And she also didn’t want to limit herself to another stadium tour like her recently finished one for Reputation. “I’m waiting to figure out what I’m going to do with touring,” she explained at the time. Well, she’s finally reached a decision.

Today (September 17) the “You Need To Calm Down” superstar announced plans for Lover Fest East and West. What is that exactly? She shed some light with an official statement. “For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER,” Taylor wrote. “I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feels authentic to the music. I want to go to some places I haven’t been, and play festivals for the first time in ages.” Sounds like a solid way to spend summer 2020, if you ask me!

Taylor will kick things off with a show in Werchter, Belgium on June 20. After that she has a handful of international performances announced through June and early July. Then comes a string of shows on the east coast in Massachusetts and west coast in Los Angeles. And that’s just the start. The hitmaker promised that more appearances would be coming soon. In the meantime, you can get ticket information here and check out the dates we know below.
