UK trio London Grammar delivers an eerie cover of INXS' 1989 hit 'Devil Inside.'

From London Grammar’s cover of “Devil Inside” to everyone with a record deal putting their own spin on “Never Tear Us Apart,” INXS’ influence on pop culture has only grown since the passing of Michael Hutchence. You now have the chance to see the Aussie band at the peak of their powers on the big screen. Yes, their 1991 concert film Live Baby Live, recorded in front of 73,791 screaming fans at London’s Wembley Arena, has been fully restored to 4K Ultra HD from recently unearthed 35mm canisters.

Not only that, but the 28-year-old footage has also had an audio upgrade (it’s now in full Dolby Atmos) and a previously “lost” performance of “Lately” has been added to the concert setlist. The restoration has been a decade-long labor of love for the band’s manager Chris Murphy, who was blown away by the finished product. “Watching it back Michael is better than even I thought he was,” he raves. “His voice became more powerful as the gig went along. It was extraordinary to watch – the crowd and band were as one.”

That sentiment is echoed by guitarist Tim Farriss. “We were just six blokes from Australia that treated Wembley Stadium like just another pub gig,” he remembers. “We went it in with a PA and a few lights and played our asses off. No ego ramps, no back-up singers, no props, no grand pianos etc, just the six of us.” Watch a preview of the fully restored Live Baby Live below. The film will play in US theaters for one night only on December 9. (The date is different depending on your country). Get your tickets here.
