Galantis & Valerie's 'Roots'
Swedish duo Galantis has teamed up with Valerie Broussard for 'Roots.'

Sweden’s Galantis (comprised of producers Bloodshy and Style of Eye) churns out feel-good bangers at an alarming rate. So far this year, the EDM duo has given us “Bones” featuring OneRepublic, “I Found U” featuring Passion Pit, “We Can Get High” featuring Yellow Claw and the Valerie Broussard-assisted “Roots.” Their latest bop is called “Holy Water” and it features the (uncredited) vocals of ’90s club queen/songwriter extraordinaire Cathy Dennis. “I can’t get down, down from this high,” she sings over an avalanche of synths. “High as a waterfall, if hearts could fly.”

“I wanna drown in your holy water,” the “C’mon And Get My Love” diva chirps on the chorus. “You know a sin never felt so good.” Galantis sticks with the watery theme for the video. It features synchronized swimming team Aqualilies doing their thing in perfect harmony with the duo’s bleeps and beeps. At this rate, Galantis already has enough (very good) material for album number three. A couple of years have passed since the arrival of The Aviary, so we’re due. Watch their soon-to-go viral “Holy Water” video below.
