Cardi B’s Sophomore LP Could Be Called ‘Tiger Woods’
Cardi B regularly updates fans via her no-chill Instagram account, but she upped the ante today (October 3) by revealing the possible title of her sophomore LP. “Everything I’m working on right now is straight to my album… and I think I’m going to name my album Tiger Woods,” she announced while getting her makeup done. And no, the rapper hasn’t discovered a sudden passion for golf. Instead, Cardi is inspired by Tiger’s tenacity and recent return to the winners’ circle.
“I’m going to name my album, I think, Tiger Woods because remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods… and then he fucking came and won that green jacket.” Unfortunately, we might have to wait a while for new music. Apart from the occasional feature, Cardi has no plans to release music for the rest of the year. It will be interesting to see if songs like “Money” and “Press” are stand-alone singles or buzz tracks for album number two. See the hitmaker’s announcement below.
