Another Gem: Winona Oak Is All Loved Up On “Let Me Know”
Winona Oak ranks as one of the breakout stars of 2019 courtesy of the gorgeously gloomy “He Don’t Love Me” and equally ill-fated “Break My Broken Heart.” The Swedish singer now makes it three perfect pop songs in a row with the surprisingly upbeat “Let Me Know.” This time around, the Sollerön native might just be lucky in love. “Help me I don’t know how to begin, never thought that I would let you in,” the 25-year-old begins. “But you’re the one I choose, I belong with you.”
She then lays her heart on the line. “So if you love me let me know, we don’t have to fall so fast,” Winona belts over Oskar Sikow’s giddy synths. “Take it slow, unless you want to hold me close.” As usual, the newcomer also delivers visually, taking us on a picturesque trip across Sweden in the Andreas Öhman-directed video. It’s easy to see why Neon Gold (the home of Tove Lo and MARINA) snapped her up. Winona has something special that just sets her apart from the pop crowd. Fall in love with her below.
