Another Taste Of ‘Romance.’ Camila Cabello Preps “Easy”

Camila Cabello was not joking when she tweeted that a storm was coming earlier this year. The 22-year-old has kept busy with a stream of collaborations such as her chart-topping “Señorita.” She only ramped things up after introducing her sophomore album Romance. The “Havana” hitmaker kicked off the era with dual releases “Shameless” and “Liar.” That was just a taste of what was on the way. Last week, she showcased a darker side of the LP on “Cry For Me.” The relatable bop (it finds her seething about an ex who moved on too quickly) amassed a cool 6.5 million Spotify streams in under a week. And Camila’s already gearing up to drop another song.

Today (October 9), she took to Instagram to announce plans to join this week’s New Music Friday lineup with “Easy.” And, based on what appear to be lyrics on a new promo pic, this one looks like a true love song. “I always thought I was hard to love till you made it seem so easy,” the art reads. Underneath there are additional lines that are scratched out. Those appear to read “seem so easy. Touch me’ till I find myself in a feeling.” This could be the most loved-up song we’ve heard off the tracklist so far. Either way, I’m definitely looking forward to finding out when it drops. While we wait to hear “Easy” in full, check out the announcement post below.
