Julia Michaels Joins Jordan Davis For “Cool Anymore”
At this point, Julia Michaels is the undisputed Queen of Collaborations. The singer/songwriter has joined forces with JP Saxe, James Bay, Selena Gomez, LANY and Niall Horan — and that’s just in 2019. Today (November 8), Julia adds another song to that list. She links with country star Jordan Davis for a romantic anthem called “Cool Anymore.” A love song about being accepted for who you really are, “Cool Anymore” is destined to strike a chord with couples from Nashville to New York.
“But you don’t have to be cool anymore, show me the side that nobody else knows,” Jordan croons. “Save all that for the rest of the world, come on let me love you girl.” Julia is just as accepting. “Puff your chest, crack a drink with your boys like you like to,” she sings. “But I know you and I know when we go home, you’re slow dancing in the kitchen with me all night long.” Aww.
