Shakira Announces ‘El Dorado World Tour’ Live Album
Shakira has been churning out groundbreaking pop music since the ’90s and she’s still the HBIC. The Queen of Latin-Pop is now adding another chapter to her glittering career by releasing a concert film. Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour will be shown on over 2000 screens in more than 60 countries on November 13. The live extravaganza was predominantly filmed at The Forum in Los Angeles, and captures the enduring hitmaker’s electric stage show as well as her struggle to bounce back from a vocal injury.
But wait, there’s more! Shakira will also release a live album — also called Shakira In Concert: El Dorado World Tour — on November 13. She shared the 20-song tracklist, which includes seminal hits like “Whenever, Wherever,” “She Wolf” and “La Tortura,” as well as deep cuts and fan favorites. “This was one of the most memorable tours of my career,” the 42-year-old reveals. “After I recovered my voice, my fans inspired me to get back onstage as they always do, and it’s pretty surreal to be reliving it with them now in over 60 countries in theaters throughout the world.”
