Sofia Carson & R3HAB's 'Rumors'
The pop star teams up with R3HAB for a slinky banger with a surprise twist.

EDIT: The post has been updated with the video for “Grey Area.” Watch it below.

Sofia Carson has been churning out bops since landing her breakthrough role in the Descendants franchise way back in 2015. In addition to featuring on all three soundtracks, the 26-year-old has also released a steady stream of singles including “Love Is The Name” and “Back To Beautiful.” And then there are her club collaborations. Sofia has already worked with EDM heavy-hitters like Alan Walker, Galantis and R3HAB. She now joins forces with Grey (the duo behind “Starving” and “The Middle”) for “Grey Area.”

“I don’t need this, but you’ve got a golden touch,” the budding pop star sings in the opening verse. “That’s why I’m always coming, scared that I’ll say too much.” However, she plucks up the courage to speak her mind on the chorus. “I’m leaving here in love or brokenhearted,” Sofia promises. “So, baby, come on let’s just finish what you started… I can’t stay with you in this grey area.” Grey’s Kyle Trewartha then replies in his verse. All in all, this is highly relatable banger about not knowing where you stand. Watch the video below.
