The EDM duo gets their groove back on the genre-blending 'This Feeling.'

The Chainsmokers have been in a rich vein of form of late, releasing bop after bop from their “building album” World War Joy. The latest club banger to be added to the tracklist is called “Push My Luck,” and it documents the initial rush of falling in love. “Might have started off rocky and ruined our first date,” Drew Taggart sings on the opening verse. “But last night when you finally called me, I ran straight through the lobby.” By the time the chorus arrives, he’s ready to take things to the next level.

“I think I might push my luck with you, does another night feel alright to you?” Drew asks over synths, guitar and drum beats. “If I ask right now, would you think it through? I think I might push my luck with you.” At this rate, World War Joy is shaping up to be all killer, no filler. “Push My Luck” joins previously-released hits “Takeaway,” “Call You Mine,” “Do You Mean,” “Kills You Slowly” and “Who Do You Love.” Those tracks have already accumulated one billion streams — a number “Push My Luck” is certain to increase even more.
