ZAYN clearly has one hell of a work ethic. The 26-year-old has been showing that off throughout the entirety of 2019. After dropping his sophomore album Icarus Falls, the crooner graced us with a steady stream of collaborations. That includes two updates on “A Whole New World,” a remix of SHAED’s “Trampoline” and a shadowy duet with Sabrina Claudio. But that’s not all. Today (November 15) he joins the New Music Friday lineup once again. This time around finds him linking up with R3HAB and Jungleboi on a staggering anthem called “Flames.”

“You better run from me. You better hit the road, you better up and leave. Don’t get too close,” he warns over handclaps and keys. “You better run from me, before I take your soul.” It all builds up to a powerful chorus, where Zayn lets his voice soar. The end result is another solid addition to his ever-growing discography. And speaking of keeping busy, his collaborators are right there with him. This year R3HAB delivered remixes for the likes of Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pink and LÉON. He did that while dropping his own projects including the Ella Vos-assisted “Exhale.” Meanwhile Jungleboi is fresh off the release of Riding On A Light Beam.
