Billie & Khalid's 'Lovely' Video
Billie Eilish and Khalid have a hit on their hands with 'Lovely.' Watch the moody video.

With two platinum albums and five top 10 hits to his credit, Khalid is one of the hottest acts in popular music. He’s also one of the most prolific. The 21-year-old’s sophomore LP, Free Spirit, only arrived in April, but he’s already moving on to the next project. Produced by Digi and Chrome Sparks, Khalid rolls out “Up All Night” as the first taste of album three (or perhaps EP two). And, given his impeccable track record, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that it’s a ruthlessly catchy bop.

“Take me ’round the world and back again as I’m searching for my soul out there,” Khalid croons in that instantly recognizable baritone. “There’s something that I’m wondering, where I’m going when my story ends.” The “Talk” hitmaker tries to shake off the existential dread as the song progresses. “Doesn’t even matter anyway, no,” he declares. “We’re focused and I’m coping with the pain.” But, like everyone else on planet earth, the superstar just wants a little peace. “Get these thoughts that keep me up all night,” he sings on the mellow chorus.
