J Balvin Has Another Global Hit On His Hands With “Blanco”
J Balvin is one of the busiest men in music. When he’s not landing high profile features (recent offerings include Tainy, Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco’s “I Can’t Get Enough,” Sean Paul’s “Contra La Pared” and Black Eyed Peas’ “Ritmo (Bad Boys For Life)”), the Colombian superstar is releasing collaborative albums with Bad Bunny (2019’s Oasis) and chipping away at his next solo album. So far, the 34-year-old has impressed the Maluma-assisted “Qué Pena,” but he ups the ante with “Blanco.”
Since emerging on the international scene, J Balvin has become synonymous with one thing. Bone-rattling beats. And the hitmaker certainly delivers them on “Blanco.” A love letter of sorts to Colombia (the song is littered with references to his homeland), José’s latest is also a sexy banger about treating your lady to the finer things in life. This comes across in the demented, Colin Tilley-directed video. Which, as to be expected from J Balvin, is a wild ride with face paint, skeletons and lots of excess. Watch it below.
