RuPaul's 'Queen Of Queens'
Drag icon and pop star RuPaul rolls out a new album called 'Queen Of Queens.'

After conquering the worlds of drag, pop and reality TV, RuPaul is here to remind you that he’s also one hell of an actor. The living legend has teamed up with Sex In The City writer Michael Patrick King to create a new Netflix Original series called AJ And The Queen. According to the synopsis, Ru plays Robert Lee AKA drag diva extraordinaire Ruby Red. He dreams of opening his own drag club, but is swindled by a pair of grifters (played by Josh Segarra and the always-fabulous Tia Carrere).

Our hero/heroine decides to start over by launching a “cross country Ruby Red roadshow.” Only, there’s a hitch. AJ, “a scrappy, streetwise 10-year-old escaping a difficult home life,” stows away in Robert’s rundown RV. Suddenly, “the consummate performer… finds himself in a new set of shoes: de facto parent.” I’m already in! And the fact that Ru delivers a drag performance in every episode just sweetens the deal. Hopefully, the quadruple threat will even debut a couple of new songs. AJ And The Queen debuts on January 10, 2020. See the trailer below.
