Sweden's breakout star ups the ante with the soaring 'Break My Broken Heart.'

January 10, 2020 is shaping up to be a banner day for pop with the arrival of Selena Gomez’s SG2 and Kesha’s High Road. Joining them is Sweden’s Winona Oak. The breakout star will release her debut EP, Closure, via Neon Gold (the home of Tove Lo and MARINA) on that very date. And it is destined to hold its own, such is the quality of gorgeously gloomy songs like “He Don’t Love Me” and “Break My Broken Heart.” Winona’s EP will also contain her most recent single, “Let Me Know,” which finds her in an unusually upbeat mood.

“Help me I don’t know how to begin, never thought that I would let you in,” the 25-year-old admits. “But you’re the one I choose, I belong with you.” The track is now made even lovelier by Johan Lenox. His “Strings Mix” (below) gives the love song an exquisite orchestral makeover. In other Winona news, the newcomer just announced her first US tour dates. She will be supporting Oh Wonder on the North American leg of their 2020 World Tour, which kicks off in Atlanta, Georgia on March 30, 2020. See all the dates here.
