Film Review: 'Shakira In Concert'
Music films don't get much better than the pop star's 'El Dorado World Tour.'

Shakira knows how to put on a show. Anyone who saw the El Dorado World Tour or her recently-released concert film already knows this. However, it was always going to be interesting to see how she converts her wild and largely-improvised stage show into a slick, TV-friendly extravaganza for Super Bowl. Now we have some idea. The Colombian goddess headlined the entertainment at tonight’s (November 24) Davis Cup Finals in Madrid, Spain and delivered a sizzling, 8-minute medley with intricate choreography and a high-profile collaboration.

The enduring hitmaker began her set with a blistering performance of “She Wolf.” I’m a little surprised she opted for the English version given the location (perhaps another clue that this is a warmup for Super Bowl?), but those iconic beats and howls are truly universal. Shakira then switched things up by calling out Camilo and Pedro Capó for the massively successful remix of “Tutu.” Last, but by no means least, was “La La La.” While the song is considered to be something of an outlier in her US discography, it’s clearly a favorite around the world.

Watch Shakira do her thing below. If this is any indication, Super Bowl won’t know what hit it when the Queen of Latin Pop takes the stage in February.
