Album Review: Billie Eilish's 'WWAFAWDWG?'
Billie impresses with debut LP, 'WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?'

Billie Eilish owned 2019. The 17-year-old lays claim to the biggest album of the year with the multi-platinum WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? and was justly rewarded with six Grammy nominations. She also racked up massive hits with “Bad Guy,” “Bury A friend” and “Everything I Wanted.” It’s only a matter of time before you can add “Xanny” to that list. Already a firm fan favorite, Billie’s anti-Xanax anthem is destined to find a much wider audience with the arrival of a self-directed video.

In it, our heroine acts as a human ashtray. The teenager sits on a bench, completely desensitized, while people put out cigarettes on her face. It’s a pretty accurate depiction of how it feels to be overly medicated. “I’m very excited to share my directorial debut,” Billie states in the press release. “Visuals are so important to me, and I’m very proud to be in a place where I can present my creative vision exactly as I want it. Thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me.” Watch “Xanny” below.
