Flashback: Gwen's 'Early Winter'
Gwen Stefani's somber 'Early Winter' should have been a much bigger hit.

Blake Shelton’s new LP, God’s Country: Fully Loaded, arrives today and it features a loved-up duet with Gwen Stefani. The real-life couple have teamed up twice before (on If I’m Honest gem “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” and festive bop “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”), but this could be their most adorable offering yet. “Wanna say it now, wanna make it clear, for only you and God to hear,” Blake sings in the opening verse. “When you love someone, they say you set ’em free, but that ain’t gonna work for me.”

They really open up on the chorus. “I don’t wanna live without you, I don’t wanna even breathe,” they croon over Scott Hendricks’ twangy production. “I don’t wanna dream about you, wanna wake up with you next to me.” If you’re wondering about the extent of Blake and Gwen’s devotion, how’s this for a romantic declaration? “Lookin’ in your eyes now, if I had to die now,” they sing to each other. “I don’t wanna love nobody but you.” Aww. At this point, we’re going to need a collaborative album.
