Elle ended up telling her father in the middle of the night, and her child was born a short time later.
She Wasn't Feeling Well
Elle Woods lives in Sydney, Australia.
When she was 16 years old, she woke her dad up at 4 a.m. because she was not feeling very well. She asked him to get her something to make her feel better.
She Was In Labor
It turns out that the reason she was not feeling well was that she was in labor!
The baby's head was already beginning to come out of her. This was how her dad found out she was pregnant.
Her Dad Called An Ambulance
Right away, her dad called an ambulance.
They lived in a small town so it would take the ambulance a while to get to them. In the meantime, the emergency dispatcher was going to talk her dad through what to do.
Moved Her To The Bathroom
They moved Elle to the ensuite bathroom.
This was the area in the home that had the most tile space. They also grabbed a bunch of towels and laid them on the bathroom floor.
Baby Was Born 20 Minutes Later
Just 20 short minutes later, Elle's daughter was born at 4:20 a.m.
When the ambulance arrived, they brought Elle and her daughter to the hospital for a full checkup and observation.
