BSB's 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'
The Backstreet Boys revival continues with new bop, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart.'

Backstreet’s back in a big way this year. The veteran boy band landed their biggest (solo) hit in more than a decade with the irresistibly perky “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and conquered Las Vegas with their Larger Than Life residency. Amazingly, AJ McLean somehow found the time to hit the studio on his own. The 40-year-old is chipping away at a country music album and it could turn out to be his calling if singles “Back Porch Bottle Service” (below) and “Night Visions” are any indication. The latter just got a video and it’s suitably epic.

“The premise of ‘Night Visions’ is all about love, the good and the bad,” AJ told Entertainment Tonight. “The feelings that stay even after you’ve broken up and the devastating sadness of knowing that person is still there with you in your mind and heart. It’s the inevitable flashes of the good and bad times that come along with that sadness and knowing that no matter what, you’d do anything for the person you love.” He conveys that theme by taking the fall for his lady in the depressingly romantic, twist-filled video. Check it out up top.
