Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line's 'Meant To Be' video is a slice of Americana.

Bebe Rexha dominated the country and pop charts with her Florida Georgia Line-assisted “Meant To Be.” The Americana-flavored bop made her the first woman to debut at the top spot on the Hot Country Songs chart back in December, and it is still sitting pretty at the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. But today (April 6), she is breathing new life into the anthem and showcasing her versatility with a solo, acoustic reworking. On it she strips back some of the production and showcases her distinctive voice over simple strings. It is an unsurprisingly strong performance that makes for easy listening.

2018 is off to a strong start for Bebe. The “I Got You” hitmaker continues to pop up on unexpected collaborations. Most recently she hopped on Ne-Yo’s latest hit “Push Back” with Stefflon Don. The dance hall-inspired cut is guaranteed to be one of the most-requested bops at clubs across the globe and highlights each of the artists’ strong suits. Before “Push Back” can take its turn on the charts though, the “Me, Myself & I” siren may top the charts with “Meant To Be.” The single is sitting at the top spot on US iTunes and is racking up serious streams on radio and other services. Her acoustic reworking may be the push she needs to take things to the next level. Check out the reimagined track below.
