Becky G Joins ZAYN On “Un Mundo Ideal” For ‘Aladdin’ Soundtrack

It’s just a few days until the live adaptation of Aladdin flies into theaters, and Disney is celebrating in style. Before it arrives May 24, they are releasing another recording of the film’s timeless anthem “A Whole New World.” Last week ZAYN and Zhavia joined forces for a fairly faithful rendition of the soaring ballad. Today (May 17) the Icarus Falls crooner joins Becky G for a bilingual update. Titled “Un Mundo Ideal,” the new version features production from Saltwives and highlights the pair’s velvety vocals. Singing in both Spanish and English, the diva really steals the show with her predictably perfect contribution.

Pop’s busiest hitmaker bubbled over with excitement when she announced the collaboration earlier this week. “I’m so honored and excited to share that I am singing the Spanish version of “A Whole New World” from Disney’s Aladdin,” she gushed. The track follows a slew of releases over the last few months. Most recently she partnered with Digital Farm Animals and Rvssian on the laid-back club anthem “Next To You.” Before that she landed another viral video (75 million views and counting) with her Maluma duet “La Respuesta.” Meanwhile, I have yet to recover from the excellence that is “Banana.”
