The after effects of Beychella have been far reaching. Beyonce is having a gold standard week since taking the stage for a history making set at Coachella last weekend. Since then, she has nabbed a pair of nominations for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards and made headlines for announcing a new charitable venture. The 36-year-old plans to donate $100,000 in scholarships to students from historically black colleges and universities. After her latest performance, she is definitely not hurting for the funds.

Yesterday (April 17) Forbes revealed that both Bey and Destiny’s Child experienced a massive spike in digital music sales in the hours following their performance. During her set, the “Mi Gente” collaborator invited Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams onstage for a mini-reunion with the girls in honor of their 20th anniversary. According to figures tracked by Nielsen, sales for the group saw a 767% spike in the day following the performance. Similarly, Bey’s discography saw a massive increase in sales. Her catalog saw an increase by 228% with Lemonade anthem “Hold Up” experiencing a 278% boost.

Bey is set to reclaim the stage at Coachella this weekend, and she is sure to move even more figures. Her set also promised big things for when she hits the road again for her On The Run II tour with hubby Jay-Z this summer.
