Britney Spears’ New Album Due Out May
Britney Spears‘ next album is coming soon. Sooner than you thought, actually.
She selects and films the video for her next single next Monday. Meanwhile, her ninth full-length is due out May — as in, four weeks from now. That is according to Robin Leach, of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous fame and Las Vegas Sun.

Britney’s longtime manager Larry Randolph tried to warn fans. In February, he told Las Vegas Sun that the album was “80 percent finished.” But Britney also stressed that she wasn’t trying to rush the creative process. “I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it,” she said to V.
Britney has worked with Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who wrote Selena Gomez‘s “Good for You” and Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry.” She has also hit the studio with DJ Mustard, BURNS, Mischke Butler, Chantal Kreviazuk, Simon Wilcox and Ian Kirkpatrick. What’s the vibe? Britney meets The Weeknd.
