Iggy Is Directing Britney's "Pretty Girls" Video
Iggy Azalea not only features on Britney Spears' "Pretty Girls," she's also directing it.

The year’s most-anticipated collaboration inches a little closer with Britney Spears sharing what appears to be a “Pretty Girls” video rehearsal pic. “Aren’t these girls pretty?” the 33-year-old captioned a happy snap with her group of dancers. The answer to her question is a resounding yes. However, the pop icon more than holds her own in red and orange shorts and a green baseball cap. There’s no sign of duet partner Iggy Azalea, but she could be busy with directorial duties.

Speaking of the Australian femcee, Iggy has talked about the collaboration at length. She has explained the evolution of the song: “I got asked and it was her song. Then she didn’t think she would have her album done in time.” So the “Fancy” hitmaker put her own spin on it. “I rewrote parts of it and it became my song, and I tried to make it all mine and keep it,” she revealed. “Then she said, ‘No, no, I am going to take it, my album is ready’.”

Oh and I-G-G-Y is also directing the video. “I directed my last music video ‘Trouble’ and I directed ‘Black Widow,’ so it will be my first time directing someone else’s video — which I’m really nervous about,” she said on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet. “I want to do her justice!” However, Britney is also involved on the visual side. “She’s also had her own input in and it’s been a cool process.”
