The Best K-Pop Songs Of 2017
We round up the 30 best K-Pop songs of 2017 including gems from BTS & HyunA.

The gentlemen of BTS have no intention of resting on their laurels. After bringing K-Pop to mainstream America via their history-making Love Yourself: Her album as well as major award show appearances and a Billboard magazine cover, the super-group has turned their attention to the another market. They dropped their third Japanese LP, Face Yourself, today (April 3) and it’s a winning blend of previous releases — “Not Today,” “DNA” and “Mic Drop” — as well as two brand new tracks. (There is also a new intro and outro).

As expected, “Don’t Leave Me” and “Let Go” are forward-thinking, genre-bending pop anthems of the highest quality. My favorite is probably the former, which finds BTS dabbling in sweeping electronica — complete with various rap interludes. The latter is a romantic R&B ballad. Unusually for a Japanese release, the songs have been simultaneously released worldwide via digital retailers. It shouldn’t be too surprising then that the group’s US fans are very much on board with “Don’t Leave Me” already sitting at number 9 on iTunes and “Let Go” following close behind at number 24. Listen to both below.
