Camila Cabello teases emotional track ''I Have Questions,'' before heading straight to the club.

Since leaving Fifth Harmony and going solo, Camila Cabello has worked with everyone from Sia to Ryan Tedder and Diplo. Now you can add Charli XCX to that list of pop heavyweights. Yesterday (May 20), Camila told Charli on Twitter, “i frickin can’t wait for people to hear what we cooked up,” to which Charli replied, “ummmm same.”

Back in March, after releasing her mixtape Number 1 Angel, Charli revealed that she worked with Camila. But she made it sound as if they were just getting to know each other, as opposed to putting that work in. “I’m really into Camila Cabello at the moment,” she said to WWD. “We did a writing session the other week just for fun. She’s talented. She’s such an incredible writer. She really blew my mind. I really enjoyed working with her.” The two of them have since debated over whether a good laugh or cry is more cathartic.

There is no telling where this collaboration will end up. Charli’s as-yet untitled third album, with the Lil Yachty-featuring “After the Afterparty,” is still a work in progress. (“I feel, like, the music industry is in a real state of flux right now, just because of the way you rate an artist, and that nobody really seems to know what an album is anymore,” Charli recently told #Legend.) Meanwhile, Camila is hoping to drop her solo debut The Hurting The Healing The Loving in September.
