Camila Cabello's 'Camila': Album Review
Does Camila Cabello's self-titled debut album live up to the hype?

Camila Cabello dominated last summer with her breakout solo hit, “Havana.” The single enjoyed a lengthy run on the charts before finally hitting the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this January. And it looks like she is attempting to recreate the feat. Today (May 18), she is making moves for her next chart topper by reuniting with producer Pharrell Williams on “Sangria Wine.” The 21-year-old recorded the track while working on her self-titled debut album last year. Although it did not make the final tracklist, it popped up on the setlist on her Never Be The Same Tour. Today (May 18), the pair rolled out an official version, and it is going to be massive.

A bilingual bop, “Sangria Wine” picks up where “Havana” left off. Over a searing beat, the partners trade off flirty lines. “Honey said she want somebody break her off proper. Man, she so relentless so nothing can stop her,” Pharrell announces on the sultry chorus. Meanwhile, Camila lays a sensual trap of her own on the dance floor. “Move it, I move it. Move my body like it is a pipe. Tutti Frutti, is all that I got. Counter-clockwise, I’m mixing it up. Sip it, sip it, I’ll bet that you blush,” she coos before moving into Spanish to continue teasing her flame. Boasting another fierce production, it is easy to imagine the track dominating radios and clubs in the months to come.

Things are looking very good for the siren right about now. Buoyed by a country remix featuring up-and-comer Kane Brown, her current single “Never Be The Same” is sitting pretty in the top 10 on the Hot 100. After peaking at the number 6 spot, it should bow out just as “Sangria Wine” begins soaring up the charts. It is heavily rumored that she and Pharrell will take the stage to perform the track at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday (May 20). If they do, expect their collab to soar to the top of the US iTunes chart and kick off their campaign for the title of Song of the Summer. Listen to the bop below!
