Lauren Jauregui is amping up the promo as she prepares to kick off her solo career. The 22-year-old will drop her debut single, “Expectations,” next Wednesday (October 24). In the meantime, she rolled out a sexy new photoshoot for King Kong magazine. Earlier this month a cover from the publication surfaced on the web. And over the weekend, we were graced with a slew of new pics from the pictorial. Shot by Bon Duke, the siren poses in a black bra and cropped, white tee on the cover. She rocks a different bra and matching bottoms in another pic and serves generally fierce looks in all of the new photos.

The accompanying feature is titled “Worship Of Independence” and will likely tackle the hitmaker’s move from being part of Fifth Harmony to pursuing solo stardom. The transition was hit by a short delay after the release date for “Expectations” was pushed back last week. “I’m bad at deadlines,” she admitted in a video shared on social media. “Creative took a second because I wanted it to be absolutely perfect.” However, she revealed that the track now drops on a full moon and added that she has several surprises ahead of the release date. The King Kong shoot is just one of the above. Check out a gallery of pics up top and order a copy of the publication here while we wait for the single to arrive.
