David Guetta Made A “Perfect” Song For Miley Cyrus

David Guetta has yet to complete his anticipated follow-up to 2011’s Nothing But the Beat. Just two days prior to his closing set at Capital Summertime Ball, he finished a song that would be ideal for Miley Cyrus. “She would be so perfect for the song,” the French producer says to Capital FM, adding, “And it’s such an obvious song for her. I’m like, ‘Wow, who could pull that off?’”

So far, Guetta’s new music has been a radical departure from the sugary EDM anthems that led to multi-platinum success. While he did sample Cher and team up with Skylar Grey for “Shot Me Down”,  Beatport hits like “Blast Off” featuring Kaz James have been more grittier and harder-hitting than his previous work. So if Cyrus was to jump on that song that Guetta just finished – well, your guess is as good as ours.

Guetta also reassures that he’s finishing up his new album now. Check out the rest of his chat at Capital FM.
