Fifth Harmony Returns With "Down"
Fifth Harmony gets it just right with bouncy banger "Down." Read our review.

Fifth Harmony has come a long way since “Miss Movin’ On.” The group has shed a member, completely overhauled their sound and sexed up their image. The ladies have also become very competent dancers. These qualities are all on display in their neon-drenched “Down” video. Directed by James Larese, the sizzling clip finds Normani, Ally, Lauren and Dinah arriving at a seedy motel. They proceed to serve choreography and looks in the parking lot, that is when they are not posing sexily in their individual rooms.

It’s a simple concept but executed superbly. “Down” is shaping up to be the girl group’s biggest hit yet, despite a minor controversy on release date. The song delivered Fifth Harmony’s highest sales debut and earned them their best iTunes ranking. (It peaked at number 2 in the US, but topped the download chart in 25 countries). The ladies recently opened up about their new LP, describing it as their most personal to date. They have co-written half of the songs and are dabbling in R&B and hip-hop. Watch 5H’s sexy new video up top.
