We count all the ways we're in love with Katy Perry's subversive "Chained to the Rhythm."

Katy Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm” arrived with a bang on Friday (February 10). The Skip Marley-assisted bop/protest anthem set a Spotify record when it was streamed more than three million times on its first day of release and made a huge debut on pop and HAC radio. How big? Katy’s latest had a first-day audience impression of 27.735 million. Surprisingly, given that success, the song failed to top the iTunes download chart. (It’s currently sitting at number 4). That’s likely to change, however, after her Grammy performance.

In addition to rewriting the record books and rehearsing for the song’s live debut, Katy also found the time to share more pics from her “Chained To The Rhythm” photo shoot. It’s all very kawaii and rides the pastel/tropical trend with soft pinks, yellows and pineapple prints. I’m still not used to the pop star as a blond (someone please rescue that blue Teenage Dream wig), but I’m starting to come around. You can click through all the pics from the Olivia Bee-helmed shoot up top.
