Kelly Clarkson stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to perform some tracks off her latest album, Meaning of Life. The 35-year-old worked her way through an emotional performance of her current single, “I Don’t Think About You,” with the support of a live band. Showcasing the depth of her vocal range, she imbued every note with power. She brought the heat with a second performance of her spit-fire anthem “Didn’t I.” The feisty ode to a former lover was a standout and showed that the track has potential to climb the charts if it were selected as a single.

During her interview segments, Kelly showcased her larger-than-life personality with a handful of hilarious anecdotes. The hitmaker opened up about getting competitive with Blake Shelton in her new position as a judge on NBC’s The Voice. “I do go in on Blake a lot. But he’s kind of a giant target,” she said with a laugh. She also talked about meeting Meryl Streep and Steve Carell at the Golden Globes, day drinking with Seth on a recent episode and her mom’s tendency to brag about her accomplishments.
