Double Feature: Lady Gaga Announces Dates For Her ‘Enigma’ And ‘Jazz & Piano’ Shows

Generous queen Lady Gaga will grace Las Vegas with two individual residencies. After announcing plans for a show on the strip last year, the 32-year-old took to social media this morning (August 7) to share more details. Instead of preparing one show, the ambitious siren has two. The first, titled Lady Gaga Enigma, will be her pop show. With a projected launch date of December 28, she will perform 23 shows before closing things out in November of 2019. Based on a handful of promotional photos that have emerged online, it looks like it will be a vibrant affair. In one picture, the “Perfect Illusion” hitmaker poses with neon blue hair and orange lips. Shot against a dark background, she is absolutely glowing.

It has been described as a “brand-new odyssey of her pop hits built as an experience unlike any other,” on the official website. “I can’t wait to share ENIGMA with all of my fans and with Las Vegas,” Gaga said about the upcoming residency. “We’re creating a show unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity, love and music.” With any luck, we will also be treated to some new material from the superstar who has been in and out of the recording studio for months now.

Meanwhile, Mother Monster’s second show will be a more intimate affair. Titled Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano, it features “stripped-down versions of her hits as well as music from the Great American Songbook.” This will be a more exclusive engagement. Gaga currently only has four performances scheduled. She will first grace the stage with it on January 20 and will play her final show June 9. The generous pop icon has arranged a pre-sale for her biggest fans starting tomorrow (August 8). Tickets will be available to the public on August 13.
