Lauren Jauregui is shaping up to be one of music’s most in demand cover girls. Last year the 22-year-old gave us super model vibes in the pages of publications like Galore, tmrw and Nylon. And the trend is set to continue well into 2019. Today, the “Expectations” diva delivers a new shoot for EUPHORIA. magazine, and it is one of her best yet. Posing for Jerry Maestas, she is an ethereally glam goddess in a series of whimsical looks. That’s not all, though. The accompanying interview offers a bit of insight into how she is distinguishing herself as a solo star.

In particular, the hitmaker opened up about how her sound has developed since stepping into the studio on her own. “I’m leaning more towards live instrumentation and my vocals are very raw so I’m really focusing on my lyricism,” she explained. “That’s where I feel like my strong suit is. I’m pretty vocal about the fact that [Fifth Harmony] wasn’t necessarily a representation of my personal taste in music or my expression in music. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say that…” Lauren’s provided a glimpse of what she’s been cooking up with the release of two singles so far.

And while her first really set the scene, she has what could be a breakout hit on her hands with her second – “More Than That.” The slinky anthem amassed more than 12 million Spotify streams since dropping. Meanwhile, the accompanying video is a glam work of art. Everything is really coming together for the rising star to drop her debut album, and we’re getting more excited by the day. In the meantime, scroll through a gallery of photos from the shoot up top, check out more details from the interview here and revisit “More Than That” below!
